The HERD hosts this annual event during Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week. It has quickly grown to an evening of awareness, fundraising, networking and entertainment to remember for all the attendees. The annual live auction is guaranteed to comprised of amazing items you are sure to want. Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week
February 7-14th is CHD Awareness Week each year. Annually, local businesses and restaurants in the Mercer County, Ohio community generously sponsor a day, the week or the entire month donating a percentage of profits to The HERD. The HERD is grateful for the supportive community that surrounds us and the community members that frequent the sponsored establishments.
Butterfly Wagon
Through a matching gift fundraiser, The HERD and KB Collective was able to purchase a Butterfly Wagon for the children to use while navigating their hospital visits.
The Stampede 5k Walk/Run Events
2020-2022
The Beat Goes On... had a grassroots start. We held The Stampede 5k Walk/Run to raise awareness and money for CHD. During these years, our donations through Conquering CHD Ohio solely funded the hospital informational bags for all Ohio pediatric hospitals, translation of CHD educational material from English to Spanish, raised awareness and provided education.
